A HOST of activities will be taking place for families in Redditch this Easter.
A thousand Easter eggs will be hidden around the borough for youngsters to take part in egg hunts, alongside different sports and activities.
Support will also be offered for families who would normally receive free school meals.
The program is being created by Redditch Borough Council’s Community Safety Team, Sports Development Team, and the Starting Well Partnership with funding from Worcestershire Children First and Ready Steady Worcestershire.
Louise Hall, community team leader said: “It is important to us to make a difference in the lives of local families and give them the opportunity to come together and enjoy the fun that Easter brings, especially as school holidays can be a difficult time for some. Thank you to everyone who has helped make it happen.”
