WALKING football has proven to be popular in Redditch with more free sessions added to cater for demand.
Every Monday from 8 pm to 9 pm at Arrow Vale High School residents can enjoy a new evening walking football session.
This comes after the success of walking sports sessions which launched in the summer.
Cllr Jo Beecham, portfolio holder for leisure, said: “When our team launched the other sessions, we were repeatedly told by people who were interested that they couldn’t make it due to work or family commitments but would love an evening session.
“Well, we listened and made it happen!
“I hope we see lots of people attending the new session.”
Other available sessions include women’s walking football at 9:15 am, walking football for all at 10:30 am and walking touch rugby at 10:30 am on a Friday – all based at the Abbey Stadium.
