A NEW European supermarket stocking a range of international groceries has opened in Redditch Town Centre.
The shop, called Maxi Grosik, is located at The Quadrant on Alcester Street, occupying what was formerly a bar and restaurant.
Customers can find a wide range of Polish, Romanian, Hungarian, Lithuanian, and Slovak groceries along with English goods.
The new tenancy of 15 years was secured with the help of property agency John Truslove.
Ben Truslove, joint managing director of John Truslove, added: “We are delighted to have helped see this empty unit in the heart of Redditch being brought back into use.
“We make sure the right landlords get the right tenants, and this was a prime example of such a successful deal.”
The unit was previously empty for four years and included two cold storerooms, a storeroom cellar, offices, WCs and a main bar.
It has been transformed to include aisles of goods including fruit and vegetables and a meat and cheese counter.
