WORK is underway on the final phase of a retirement village in Great Alne.
Great Alne Park has entered the third and final phase of building work which is scheduled to be completed in September 2024.
An additional 49 retirement cottages are set to be built by Countryside Partnerships, which is part of the Vistry Group.
Great Alne Park which is managed by Inspired Villages already includes a mixture of cottages and apartments, as well as a village centre, allotments and extensive landscaping including an amphitheatre, croquet lawn, wildflower meadow, walking paths and picnic area.
