NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Redditch’s restaurants and cafes – and its good news for them both.
Radiate Redditch at Ecumenical Centre, at 6 Evesham Walk, Redditch was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 9.
The community hub provides meals, warmth and support to those who are homeless or vulnerable
And ShakeHouse Redditch, at 29 Unicorn Hill, Redditch was also given a score of five on January 5.
It means that of Redditch's 78 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 51 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
Businesses are rated from zero to five for their food hygiene with zero meaning urgent improvement is required, one meaning major improvement is necessary, two meaning some improvement is necessary, three meaning generally satisfactory, four meaning good and five meaning hygiene standards are very good.
