A RETIRED Redditch primary school teacher has fulfilled her dream by penning a children’s book.
Amanda Worley read countless stories to her students and to her own children at home, leading her to dream of one day writing her own novel.
Taking early retirement, Amanda found herself with more time to learn IT skills and work on her first book.
The story, titled ‘Bingo Dog Finds a Home’, is the first in a series of five short stories about the same characters.
Bingo finds himself in a need of a home and tells the heart-warming story about how he is brought together with a family at a dog rescue centre.
Targeted at four to nine-year-olds, the book ends with some questions for children to answer related to the story.
The book can be purchased from Amazon for £3.99.
