AN Elderly driver was rushed to hospital after a crash between a pick-up truck and a bus.
The collision happened on Rough Hill Drive in Redditch on Thursday morning (March 16).
The driver of the pick-up truck suffered multiple “non-life threatening” injuries.
The road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a collision between a pick-up truck and a bus on Rough Hill in Redditch at about 9.55am on Thursday.
“An ambulance and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene.
“The Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham with an enhanced care team on board landed on the roadway.
“The driver of the pick-up, an elderly man, received multiple non-life threatening injuries.
“He was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken by ambulance to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
“There were no other injuries”.
