A WOMAN has been injured after an early morning crash in Redditch.

Paramedics were called to Warwick Highway near Mappleborough Green just before 6.30am this morning (March 28) to reports of a two-car crash.

A woman was treated for minor injuries and taken to Alexandra Hospital for further treatment.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of an RTC on Warwick Highway near Mappleborough Green, Studley at 06.29am.

“One ambulance was sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered two cars had been involved in a collision.

“One female patient was treated for minor injuries by ambulance staff before being conveyed to Alexandra Hospital for further treatment.

“A man was assessed by medics but did not require treatment and was discharged at the scene.

“There were no other injuries.”
