A 'NO longer fit for purpose' Lidl store in Redditch is set to close.
The store in The Quadrant, which was first opened 25 years ago is set to close, Lidl has confirmed.
The budget supermarket giant said they 'continue to have requirements and review opportunities in Redditch for new stores'.
This means there will only be one Lidl supermarket in Redditch which is located on Battens Drive.
Whilst Lidl said they cannot confirm a closure date they 'will look to redeploy all colleagues where possible'.
