A ‘LOVED’ father who was killed in a car crash in Alvechurch was planning to propose to his partner before his death.

Fraser Swift-Jones, affectionately known as Fraze, was riding his Honda motorcycle to ORMT Motorcycle Training, where he worked as an instructor, on the morning of April 20.

However, just after 8am he was tragically killed in a collision on Lilley Green Road.

Police believe a deer ran onto the carriageway causing Fraze’s motorcycle and a black Jeep SUV car to swerve, colliding with one another.

His family and friends have told of their ‘avalanche of pain, grief and sadness' following the 31-year-old’s death.

Fraze, lived in Wythall with his partner Roxy Wilson, whom he affectionally called ‘my pud’, their three-month-old son Arthur and Roxy’s mother Nicky, father Les and brother George.

He has been described as having the ‘most captivating personality and always the life and soul of the party, brightening every room he entered’.

Lesley Hughes, Fraze’s mother, said he was looking for an engagement ring before his death and planned to propose to Roxy in the near future.

Paying tribute to Fraze, his family said: “Roxy and Fraze had an all-consuming love and electric chemistry, totally obsessed with one another from the day they met in July 2018.

“The evening before we lost Fraze, after putting Arthur to bed, Fraze and Roxy listened to music and were reminiscing - talking about how they had ‘made it’ getting through the first stage of a newborn baby and how it couldn’t be physically possible to love each other more than they did at that moment.

“They stayed up talking about how they were so excited for the future. he left to go to work in the morning and kissed Roxy ‘his pud’ and son Arthur ‘little fat’ told them he loved them and rode off to work.

“The moment he rode through the gates at Roxy’s family home he became the centre of Roxy’s universe and also her families, fitting in as the perfect shaped missing piece that they didn’t release they needed but now cannot live without.

“This extended out to everyone Fraze met in life, touching the hearts of everyone around him.

“He had a passion for motorbikes and shared this passion with his best friend Jake and his best friend and stepfather Pete.

“He was so loved and treasured throughout the biking community.”

Fraze also leaves behind brother Fin, who serves in the RAF but has since returned home, sister Charlotte and father Cliff.

“Male or female he would address you as 'Bab' or 'Darling'.
