A WOMAN was cut free from a car wreckage after a crash in Studley.
Just after 6.10pm on Monday, May 1 emergency services were called to Holt Road after a car collided with a stationary vehicle.
The driver of the car, a woman, was trapped and has to be cut free by firefighters.
She was then taken to Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, with injuries not believed to be serious, for further treatment.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 6.11pm on Monday to a road traffic collision involving a car that had collided with a stationary vehicle on Holt Road in Studley.
"One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene. Upon arrival, we found a woman who was the driver of the car.
"She was assessed by ambulance staff and had sustained injuries not believed to be serious. She was conveyed to Alexandra Hospital for further treatment.”
A spokesperson for Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 18:11pm on May 1 to reports of an RTC on Holt Road, Studley.
“Two crews attended the scene and, on arrival, found one private motor vehicle had one person medically trapped.
“Small gear and cutting equipment were used to extract the trapped person.
“The crews were at the scene for around 30 minutes.”
