PEOPLE across the county will be able to have their say as the Worcestershire County Council resident roadshows return in 2023 this weekend.
The first stop on this summer’s countywide tour will be the Hanbury Countryside Show on Saturday, July 1 from 9am to 6pm.
Various county councillors and members of staff will be on hand at each event to talk about the wide range of services that the council provides and supports.
During last years’ tour of events, over 1,000 face to face conversations with people took place across the county.
Councillor Simon Geraghty, leader of Worcestershire County Council, said: “It was great to see so many people face to face at events last year and I’m delighted that we are out at events over the summer this year.
“The roadshows are a great way for local people to come and talk to us about the things that are going well in their local communities and issues that matter most to them. It’s also a great way to find out more about we spend our budget on the wide range of services we provide and support.
“We will be once again visiting events in all six districts to give people the chance to have their say so please come along and talk to us or visit the online roadshow if you are unable to make one of the events. We look forward to seeing you.”
