A REDDITCH nursery aiming to become the ‘most tech savvy’ in the area has installed new facial recognition technology.
As part of several improvements and upgrades, Astwood Smiles Day Nursery has upgraded its door entry system to a facial recognition system.
The nursery says it was the first nursery to install fingerprint technology when it opened in June 2014.
Nursery director Olivia Waters said: “This new technology gives our parents peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that their children are protected by top-of-the-line technology.”
“We have always prided ourselves on future-proofing the nursery, this is just the latest of improvements following on from the installation of solar panels on the nursery roof earlier this year.
“Safety of the children in our care is so important, as is moving with the times, our aim is to be the greenest, most tech-savvy nursery in Redditch.”
