A Redditch company has received a special award from the fire service in recognition of their exceptional contribution to the safety of the community.
MBBC Construction Chemicals Ltd were presented with the Chief Fire Officer’s Employer Award by Chief Fire Officer of Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS), Jon Pryce, at the annual Worcestershire Medals and Awards Ceremony.
The event this year was held at Worcester Guildhall.
The award is made annually to the employers of HWFRS’ on-call firefighters who have supported the well being of residents.
Chief Fire Officer (CFO), Jon Pryce, said: “It was an honour to once again be able to formally recognise some of the fantastic achievements and commitment of our staff and members of the community.
“All of the accolades given were very well-deserved and many recipients have contributed towards keeping the people of Herefordshire and Worcestershire safe.”
