MP Rachel Maclean has named the winner of her Redditch and the Village’s Best Pub Competition.
Hundreds of residents took part in the competition by voting for their favourite pub.
The Old Sticky Wicket in Matchborough received the most votes from and has won the competition.
When voting for The Old Sticky Wicket, residents said the pub is at the “heart of the community” and praised its “great atmosphere” and “great manager.”
Mrs Maclean said: “Our pubs are at the heart of their communities and it’s right we recognise the contribution they make to our town and villages.
“Huge congratulations to Joanne Beech and her team at The Old Sticky Wicket for receiving the most votes and winning my Best Pub Competition.
“It’s clear from the votes that The Old Sticky Wicket received that the pub really is at the heart of the community and is much-loved by residents.”
