A care home has announced the opening of a new annexe building in March.
Parklands Care Home in Callow Hill, Redditch, is extending with five new rooms, all of which offer views of the Bredon and Malvern Hills.
With the new rooms the care home will be more able to meet the increasing demand for long-term care.

The extension has been named the King Suites, in honour of community architect, Brian King, who passed away in July 2023 after playing an "instrumental" role in planning the extension.
Along with picturesque views, each room also features a wet room.
Residents in the suites can choose to live independently or opt for assistance from the care staff.
A lounge offers a comfortable space for residents to unwind, or alternatively they can mingle in the main building where and participate in various activities, ranging from exercise classes and creative art to coffee mornings and bingo.
The care also home boasts a CQC rating of 'Good' in all areas.
It caters for a range of needs and guarantees personalised care plans for each resident.
An open day at the King Suites will be on Friday, March 15 from 11am to 3pm.
