A Redditch-based business has topped the rankings as the best commercial property agent in the region. 

John Truslove came first in the latest EG Radius leader boards, which list the country's top agents and the most successful business property agencies. ,

Joint managing director, Ben Truslove, also sealed the second most deals of any individual agent in England in 2023, coming third in the UK overall. 

Mr Truslove said: "Last year was a phenomenal year for John Truslove. Not only did we see a pickup post-Covid, but also business in Worcestershire and Warwickshire bounced back and this was reflected in demand for business space. 

"Many of our deals were for additional space for clients we have advised over a number of years, but what was really encouraging was how much space we arranged for start-ups.

"Start-ups and growing family businesses are the engine room of the regional economy and we are very proud to be able to help companies grow into more space as they become more and more successful."

In 2023, the company came top in Worcestershire with 92 deals recorded and second in Warwickshire with 20 deals. 

The latest results mean that the property agent has been top in Worcestershire for the past five years. 

Mr Truslove also made 115 deals across the Midlands in the past 12 months to December 31, 2023. 

He added: "Joint managing director Ian Parker and I have worked together for over a decade, and we are really pleased to have James Haynes as our apprentice surveyor.

"James has an excellent attitude and is enjoying learning our profession, alongside studying at Birmingham City University."
