A major distributor has relocated to a brand-new warehouse near Redditch to meet increasing customer demand.
Purcho, which distributes cleaning and workplace essentials across the UK, has moved to a 3,000 sq ft site at Arden Business Centre in Alcester.
The company will occupy the ground floor on a five-year lease with the ability to double its size to 6,000 sq ft on the upper floor.
The warehouse will be used to help fulfil next-day delivery orders to more than 700 customers.
Vivek Sylva, who is in charge of the day-to-day operations at Purcho, said: "We are in total control of our pricing as we are not tied to any buying groups which has enabled us to provide great value while helping our customer margins. This undoubtedly drives our growth.
"More than 60 per cent of our 20,000 orders to date have originated from mobile devices, a trend that is expected to escalate, and this surge in online demand has prompted both the relocation of our warehouse and the decision to rebrand.
"The centrally located spacious warehouse also enables us to fulfil a greater number of nationwide orders within a 24-hour timeframe."
Purcho is part of the Diamond Facilities Support Group and was initially founded as Health and Hygiene Products in 2021 before undergoing a re-brand.
The move comes just three years after launching as a digital marketplace specialising in workplace essentials including cleaning and janitorial products, pantry essentials, office stationery supplies, toilet supplies, health and safety (PPE) and computer cleaning supplies.
Mr Sylva added: "Being affiliated with a company as large as Diamond Facilities Group provides additional benefits, allowing us to cross-sell to the Group's established client base, alongside our own.
"This, coupled with the new warehouse, will play a pivotal role in our ongoing growth, which is evident in our increasing turnover year after year."
