Members of a Studley drama group are set to celebrate the "vibrant and daring" world of cabaret in their latest show.
Studley Operatic Society (SOS) is thrilled to announce its upcoming cabaret-style concert, Cabarisqué, which is set to dazzle audiences at the Greig Hall in Alcester.
The society, which has previously brought audiences Young Frankenstein, Kinky Boots, 42nd Street and Oklahoma, will be performing its summer showcase with a twist on Saturday, June 1.
Audiences should prepare to be "whisked away" on a journey through the cheekier side of musical theatre as SOS brings the glitz and glamour of cabaret to life.
Concert director Paul Mitchell said: "This concert is a celebration of the vibrant and daring world of cabaret featuring an electrifying line-up of songs that will leave audiences tapping their toes and craving more.
"More than just your normal concert, it's a cabaret set up with tables, a bar open throughout and a show full of incredible choreography, makeup, lighting, props and fantastic music.
"So, whether you enjoy the iconic tunes of 'Moulin Rouge' of the cheeky humour of 'Avenue Q', Cabarisqué promises to be an unforgettable, immersive experience with something for everyone.
"Join us for a night of music, mischief and pure entertainment that will have you up out of your seat."
Featuring numbers from smash hits such as Rent, Hamilton, Chicago and The Full Monty as well as many more surprises, the event is set to bring the infectious energy of Mamma Mia with the allure of Moulin Rouge.
There will be two shows, a matinee at 2.30pm and an evening performance at 7.30pm.
There are a limited number of seats available and the organisers said they are selling fast so audiences are advised to book now to avoid disappointment by calling 07708476103.
Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis at the performance with eight to 10 able to sit comfortably at each table.
Due to the nature of the show's content and the inclusion of some strong language, Cabarisqué is advised as being rated 15.
Adults bringing anyone younger than this can do so at their own discretion
