A chain solutions provider has appointed a new group HR director.

Oakland International, based in Redditch, has appointed Nicola Harris to the role.

A gifted professional with 25 years worth of experience in talent management and people development, Ms Harris previously provided support to the Oakland leadership team as a consultant from October 2023.

Recently at Unispace she brought together the global HR team, navigated pandemic-imposed workforce challenges, and coordinated employee initiatives across the group.

Operating 24/7, the company provides storage, distribution, food tempering, and brand development for various food types.
