Organisers of Astwood Bank Carnival in Redditch have announced this year's event royalty.
For 2024, residents have even been invited to give a warm welcome to the carnival Queen Imogen Chalk, Rosebud Betty Sallis, Princess Sarah Shepard, Princess Lydia Pountney, Prince Hayden Charles Thomas and Prince Eric Sallis.
The youngsters will be leading the succession of floats, bands and walking groups honouring all things Mardi Gras to the carnival showground at Sandhills Farm.
The showground will be bursting with stalls and trade stands and there will be plenty of entertainment on offer throughout the afternoon on Saturday (July 13).
There will also be climbing walls, the return of animal corner, inflatables and area acts and activities including pony rides, fairground attractions and the traditional dog show.
The categories for the show include waggiest tail, cutest pup and best veteran.
There will be a car show featuring a variety of vehicles from classics to modern.
Food and drink will also be available from bhajis to burgers and everything in between.
The beer tent has been provided by the Why Not Inn with performances from a DJ and the Rock Choir.
The three headline acts include British title holders The Clwyd Valley Axemen, Dangerous Steve and The Shaun Paul Smith Dance Academy.
Each act will be performing at least two shows throughout the day.
The carnival weekend starts from Friday (July 12) to Sunday (July 14).
