LABOUR’S Chris Bloore has been elected as the new Redditch MP, with Rachel Maclean of the Conservatives losing her seat.
Mr Bloore received 14,810 votes in Thursday’s general election, and has a majority of 789.
Rachel Maclean received 14,021 votes in the election.
The voter turnout for the election in Redditch was 59.83%.
Reform Candidate Julie Allison received 8,516 votes, with Andrew Fieldsend-Roxborough of the Liberal Democrats receiving 2,165 votes.
Green Party candidate David Thain received 2,098 votes and Amin of the Workers Party received 765 votes.
