A POLICE incident has closed main roads in Redditch today.
The incident is on the The Alvechurch / Bromsgrove Highways A448 and A441 between Headless Cross and The Windmill Lane roundabout in Redditch.
It involves concern for a man on a bridge.
West Mercia Police officers are present and the force is advising motorists to avoid the area.
A spokesperson said: "We are currently on scene at Alvechurch Highway, Redditch, due to concern for a man on the bridge.
"Please seek alternative routes, avoiding this area as the Bromsgrove and Alvechurch Highways (A441 and A448) are closed from the Headless Cross Roundabout to the roundabout with Windmill Drive (the B4504 ).
"Updates to follow further."
