PROM season is officially here bringing all the glitz, glamour and sparkle to town.

Having spent the past few weeks sitting their GCSEs, 15 and 16-year-olds across Redditch are being given the chance to celebrate their time at school with their Year 11 prom.

The events offer the perfect opportunity to dress up in a stunning dress or smart suit and spend time with friends.

Among those attending events were Oliver Jones and Lucy Lewis. They attended the year 11 Prom of RSA Academy Arrow Vale, Matchborough Way, Redditch.

The Prom was held on Wednesday, July 3 at the Limes Country Lodge Hotel, near Earlswood.

Also enjoying the Prom was Elsa Lovett. She is also a student from RSA Academy Arrow Vale and was at the prom on Wednesday, July 3.

Jake Hughes chose an unusual way to travel to his year 11 Prom.

He arrived in style in one of the lorries from Davis Aggregates, where his mum works.

Manager Andy was kind enough to drive him to the Limes so that he could arrive in style.

Also enjoying the celebrations was Bree Gawn, also from RSA Academy Arrow Vale. She enjoyed an evening at Abbydale, in Redditch.
