ASTWOOD Bank was "buzzing" on Saturday (July 13) as people came together for the annual carnival.
People came out in full force for the event, which had a Mardi Gras theme this year.
The carnival featured a parade, entertainment, a classic car show and dog show and food vendors.
The Astwood Bank Community Group, who run the event, thanked all those who helped make the day a success.
In a post on Facebook, they said: "Wow. What a Weekend.
"Firstly, thank you to all of you who came along in your thousands to enjoy carnival day.
"Evesham Road was an absolute buzz of laughter and cheers watching the procession come by. You make the atmosphere so amazing.
"From decorating your homes to spraying us with water pistols and dancing along the pavements.
"A deep appreciation and gratitude to our sponsors and supporters who give not only money, but resources and skills such as the limos and lorries, vans and construction skills, entire show ground spaces, barriers and signage, shuttle buses, prize donations and so much more.
"To the incredibly talented acts, entertainment, colourfully creative procession entries, perfectly practiced performers and carnival royalty who wow and amaze everyone who comes out for carnival day - you bring such an amazing energy and enthusiasm that makes the day memorable for everyone who attends. The amazing array of trade stands, food and drink vendors, classic car entrants, rides, attractions, dog show and pony rides that means there is something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day.
"But, our biggest thank you is to our team of Volunteers. You are a small team, but a force of herculean proportions".
