Police have launched an appeal after a number of vehicles were stolen in the Hollywood area. 

West Mercia Police said there have been several incidents where vehicles have been taken without keys in the area particularly on Sycamore Drive and Alcester Road. 

Officers said they suspect the offenders arrived in a silver Ford Fiesta and used a relay device to obtain access to the vehicles. 

The incident happened between 10pm on Tuesday (July 16) and 2am on Wednesday (July 17). 

They are now appealing for witnesses and asking residents with CCTV or Ring Doorbell footage to come forward. 

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Between 10pm on Tuesday, July 16, and 2am on Wednesday, July 17, there have been a number of incidents where vehicles have been stolen by keyless means within the Hollywood area.

"It is suspected that the offenders have arrived in a silver Ford Fiesta and used a relay device to obtain access to the vehicles. Police incident number: 00033_i_17072024.

"We are looking to see if any local residents have any CCTV or Ring doorbell footage that may assist us in our enquiries and may have captured footage or images of these offenders or the vehicle that they used."
