A road in Alvechurch has been closed following a water leak. 

Worcestershire County Council said Rowney Green Lane is closed today (Friday, August 2) whilst Severn Trent carries out repairs. 

There is a valid permit in place until Tuesday (August 6) at 4pm. 

Drivers should expect delays in the area whilst the work is being completed and people should seek an alternative route. 

The footpath is expected to remain open throughout the duration of the work.
