A clothing shop in Alcester is celebrating 50 years of serving the community.
Will Evans from Guy's Menswear is delighted to be marking half a century of successful trading at 45 High Street.
The business has thanked its loyal customer base for supporting the shop so faithfully over the years especially during the challenges of the pandemic.
Mr Evans said: "We are very fortunate. Many of our customers have been coming here for years and recommend us to their friends and families.
"That's not to say that our clothes are for a certain demographic as we attract people from all age groups. They come in for a chat and a browse and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.
"Although we're local, the people that visit us from further afield never cease to amaze me."
Many retail businesses have struggled to survive over the last few years with spiralling costs including energy bills.
Guy's Menswear prides itself on supporting the local community including The Royal British Legion and Tarantara Choir.
The shop also offers flexible opening times for those who can't get to Alcester during normal opening hours.
Mr Evans said: "We want to get the message across that if people can't get to Alcester during our standard opening times, we're willing to accommodate them outside of those times.
"We can be totally flexible if they would care to ring the shop after twelve noon, Monday to Saturday, and arrange for a private viewing on 01789762603.
"Niche retailers like ourselves have been affected by the convenience of buying online.
"However, we would urge people that coming into the shop, feeling the quality and texture of our fabrics and seeing the vibrancy of colours as opposed to looking at a photograph gives the customer a much better experience.
"We also have a loyalty card scheme that's proving to be very popular with our customers."
