An air ambulance was spotted flying over Redditch today following a collision involving a motorbike and a car.
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance were called to the scene of a collision at around 12.08pm today (Wednesday, August 14).
The collision happened on Highland Way with West Midlands Ambulance Service sending an ambulance, paramedic officer, a community first responder and the air ambulance to the scene.
Crews treated the motorcyclist, a man, who had sustained non-life threatening injuries before he was taken to the Alexandra Hospital for further checks.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a collision involving a motorbike and a car on Highland Way, Redditch at 12.08pm today.
"An ambulance, paramedic officer, a Community First Responder and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended.
"Crews treated the motorcyclist, a man, who had sustained non-life threatening injuries before he was conveyed to the Alexandra Hospital for further checks."
