STUDENTS in Redditch have been celebrating their A-Level results as they secure their places at their chosen universities and other destinations.

Tudor Grange Academy Redditch has said many students achieved impressive results and have secured places at university, while others are exploring a plethora of pathways and opportunities.

Some notable success stories amongst this year’s A-Level results include Dominic Burton who achieved Geography (A), English (B), Business Studies (B), Adam Hutchinson who achieved History (A), Maths (B), Business Studies (B) and Bailie Carr who achieved Criminology (A), Psychology (B), and Business Studies (B).

Headteacher Marie McNamara said: “We are incredibly proud of all of our students’ achievements today. We are an inclusive and collaborative school that is determined to deliver an all-round education to all of our students.

Students and staff at Arrow Vale High School also celebrated a year of excellent achievements for students.

Impressive individual performances include Jaiden Bowkett, who has achieved A in English Literature, A* in History, Distinction* in Music and an A in Psychology and has secured a place to study Law at The University of Birmingham.

Jack Jarret has achieved A* in Maths, A* in History and an A* in Further Maths and has secured an apprenticeship with EY Accountants in Birmingham 

Billy Garey has obtained A in Biology, A in Geography, and an A in Spanish and has secured a Quantity Surveying apprenticeship with McCoy’s. 

Rohan Mangat has achieved A in English, A* in Film Studies and an A in Psychology and is hoping to join the Police force. 

Rachel Chuah has secured a place to study Architectural Engineering at Loughborough University.

Students and staff at Trinity High School and Sixth Form Centre turned out in high numbers to collect their A level results and celebrate together.

Due to the pleasing results, 95% of students have been able to access their first choice university destination, with many of these students securing places at Russell Group universities.

There were notable performances from a number of students who achieved the top grades including Rebecca Wilshaw (A A B), Connor Mackness (A A Distinction*), Ryan Moisey (A* Distinction* B), Adaa Ahmed (A B Distinction*) and Alesha Amin (A*A B).

Headteacher Nigel Ford said: "I am delighted with this year's results, which are a testament to the commitment and hard work of our students and staff".

Saint Augustine’s Catholic High School say they are thrilled to announce a remarkable achievement in this year's A-level results with 88% of students obtaining their first-choice university place, which is above the current national average.

40% of all university applicants gained places at Russell Group universities. 100% of Oxbridge applicants secured their places, as well as 100% of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine applicants.

Individual student highlights include Finley Shennan (A*A*A) who is off to the University of Hull to study Psychology

Benjamin Dutton (A*A*B) who is off to the University of Cambridge to study Law

Sion Duggan (AAA) who is off to the University of Manchester to study Environmental Science

Ruby Silver (AA Double Dis*) who is off to study Theatre and Performance at Falmouth University which is prestigious for the performing arts. 

St Benedict's Catholic High School in Alcester has celebrated an incredible 99% pass rate 

Individual results highlights include Luke Conlon, who gained a place at University of Manchester after achieving B/B/Distinction. Bradley Thomas gained a place at Hertfordshire University after achieving grades A/A/C.

Victoria Jones will study Midwifery at Kingston University after achieving grades B/C/C.

And Jake Waterfield secured an electrical apprenticeship achieving distinctions in all subjects.
