A physiotherapy chain has moved into a brand-new treatment centre in Redditch.
Founded by Kiran Sharma 24 years ago, Physio & Health Matters has expanded into its sixth site following a surge in demand.
The business, which caters for both private and NHS patients, prides itself on building a strong reputation amongst clients and providing quality care.
The move has seen the business expand to a site at 7 Church Green East.
Ms Sharma, who qualified with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Coventry University in 1997, said: "I believe it is the quality of our treatment and care that underlies a lot of the growth. We have built an excellent reputation which has seen a rise in private patients, along with an increase in numbers of NHS patients that are being referred to us.
"We have also recently launched our corporate service which covers work-related injuries. In this, we provide support and guidance on DSE assessments looking at the working environment and ergonomics of the staff and health and safety advice.
"We have had great interest in our wellbeing at work particularly in which we provide desk-based massages and support businesses with their wellbeing agenda. This helps with staff physical and mental well-being."
Physio & Health Matters is also working at one of the region’s leading residential homes as well as at the University of Warwick.
Ms Sharma worked with James Haynes and Ian Parker at John Truslove to secure the bigger site.
The centre joins other branches in Bromsgrove, Knowle, Allesley Coventry, Ross-on-Wye and the University of Warwick.
The treatment centre also aims to recruit up to ten more staff this year as it caters for a growing clientele.
They are also looking for other new premises in Worcestershire.
Ms Sharma added: "I wanted somewhere nearer the town centre. The team at John Truslove were very helpful and when we wanted to look around the premises at Church Green East, James showed my practice manager and I around.
"My partner, who does CAD design, was able to come up with a plan that ensured the offices would work for us in providing treatment."
Apprentice surveyor James Haynes said: "This is a great deal for one of our private client landlords; they now have an excellent tenant whose growing business provides a service to people across the region.
"As Physio & Health Matters continues to expand, I am confident we can help with their future property needs."
