A much-loved carnival is set to bring fun and entertainment to town as it returns to Redditch this weekend.
Redditch Carnival Road Parade and Fun Day is set to take place on Saturday (September 21) with the parade starting from Birchfield Playing Fields at 2.30pm.
Floats, vehicles and bikes will kick off the parade as they turn right onto Birchfield Road before continuing down Bromsgrove Road.
They will then be joined by bands, walkers and performers at Redditch Cricket, Hockey and Rugby Club.
The full road parade will then continue down Bromsgrove Road, Unicorn Hill, Church Green West, Easemore Road, Archer Road and Grove Street.
The procession, which has a new route this year, will finish at Trinity High School.
The event continues throughout the day from 12pm with craft and food stalls as well as live performances.
This includes a performance at 1pm from Got2Sing Choir as well as the Violette's at 2pm, the Samba Band at 3.30pm and It's a Sign at 4.30pm at the bandstand in the town centre.
There will also be entertainment for the children with Wilson's Funfair and much more so there will be something for the whole family to enjoy.
Thousands of people partied at last year's carnival with the community excited for what promises to be another successful year for the event.
In a post on Facebook, Redditch Carnival said: "Please come and help us put on a parade you won’t forget. We couldn’t put on the Redditch Carnival Parade without help from the public.
"Redditch Carnival members are all unpaid volunteers with the main aim to put in a carnival parade for the Redditch community to enjoy."
There will also be temporary road closures throughout the day between 2.30pm and 5.30pm.
