A number of roads will be closed this weekend as the much-loved Redditch Carnival returns to town.
Residents have been advised that road closures will be in place this weekend as the community prepares to line the streets and welcome the carnival parade.
The temporary road closures will be in place between 2.30pm and 5.30pm on Saturday (September 21).
The rolling closures will start on Birchfield Road in Headless Cross and will affect the parade route which will travel along Bromsgrove Road, Unicorn Hill, Church Green West, Easemore Road, Archer Road and Grove Street.
According to a notice on the Redditch Borough Council website, the disabled bays will also be closed on Church Green East and Peakman Street.
Drivers should find alternative routes and plan ahead of any journeys during the parade.
Thousands of people partied at last year's carnival with the community excited for what promises to be another successful year for the event.
The vehicle parade will start at 2.30pm from Birchfield Road Playing Fields with the full land parade starting from Redditch Cricket, Hockey and Rugby Club.
As well as a parade, there will also be live entertainment, a fun fair, food stalls and more in the town centre for the whole community to enjoy.
