A primary school in Bewdley has been forced to close due to flooding.
Bewdley Primary School said they were "incredibly sorry" to announce the school is unable to open today (Monday, September 23).
The school said the heavy rain has flooded into the school's electric cupboard making it unsafe to have children on the premises.
Parents and carers who have dropped their children off at Rascals have been advised to collect them as soon as possible.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Bewdley Primary School said: "We are incredibly sorry to announce that unfortunately the school will not be opening today.
"Rain is currently flooding into the school’s electrics cupboard and its surrounding areas.
"It is therefore unsafe to have children on the premises.
"If your child is in Rascals, please arrange to have them collected as soon as possible.
"We will give out further information as soon as we have it. Thank you, in advance, for your understanding in this difficult situation."
