Feckenham villagers have been letting their imaginations run wild in preparation for this year's Scarecrow Weekend.
Residents have been busy making the most imaginative, weird and wonderful displays to delight, enthral, amuse and scare.
The Scarecrow Weekend event is taking place on Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6 with organising promising an ideal day out in a picturesque rural setting.
The scarecrows will be on parade from 11am until 4.30pm each day and there will be a scarecrow trail to follow with maps available at the start on The Square (village green).
At The Square, visitors will also find a tea tent with a mouth-watering array of cakes, tea, coffee and soft drinks.
There will also be a barbecue and a selection of homemade puddings.
The Square Management Committee added: "There'll be games and novelties for the youngster as well as exhibitions and demonstrations by the artists and craftsmen of Feckenham Artisans and there'll be a chance to buy items. Perhaps a bit of early shopping for Christmas?
"Feckenham's Erstwhile Border Morris will also dance for the scarecrows."
More than 40 scarecrow creations are expected to be on display for the whole family to enjoy and to judge.
Visitors will vote to choose the best scarecrow with voting slips distributed at the start of the trail.
The winners will be announced on Sunday afternoon.
The event, which is in its 15th year, is just for fun with admission and maps being free of charge.
There is also free parking with drivers advised to enter the postcode B96 6HQ into the Satnav.
Proceeds from the tea tent will be used to maintain Feckenham's village green.
