Police have increased patrols in Alcester following community concern.
Alcester Police said they were increasing Safer Neighbourhood Team patrols in the area after an incident on Meadow Road.
Officers said they were called to the street at around 8.55am yesterday (Thursday, September 26) to reports of an altercation between two women.
A woman in her 20s was later arrested on suspicion of assault.
In an update today (Friday, August 27), Alcester Police reassured residents that patrols in the area would be increased and urged the community to contact them with any concerns.
In a post on Facebook, Alcester Police said: "We are aware this incident in Meadow Road yesterday has caused quite a bit of concern in the local community.
"The local safer neighbourhood team is increasing patrols in the area, if you have any concern please speak to one of our officers."
