A brand-new fancy dress shop has officially opened its doors in Redditch just in time for Halloween. 

Midlands Fancy Dress (MFD) closed its shop on Church Green East in March after more than 11 years of trading on the high street. 

The team hoped to find a new home for the business after customers suggested they needed a more prominent location to make them more visible. 

After moving online over the summer months, the team have now officially opened their new shop in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre and called the reaction "amazing".

"Our first week back in Redditch in September was great. Catching up with all our regular customers and the reaction to our new shop has been amazing. 

"Halloween has arrived in Redditch."

The store has received a huge welcome from customers and the local community and there is a fantastic selection of Halloween costumes, masks, wigs, accessories and decorations for those wanting to get into the spooky spirit. 

The business also supplies bespoke balloons for all occasions as well as fancy dress outfits and accessories.

"The store enhances the already fantastic offering here in the Kingfisher Centre and we encourage our customers to pop in and see for themselves." 

Midlands Fancy Dress is located on Walford Walk opposite Next. 

The store is open from 9am until 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and from 10am until 4pm on Sunday.
