A car park in Redditch is set to be closed later this month for essential improvement work and resurfacing.
The car park at the end of Cleeve Close will be temporarily inaccessible for two days later this month.
The car park, accessed via Cleeve Close in Church Hill, will be completely closed on Tuesday, October 29 and Wednesday, October 30 so that it can be resurfaced.
The work coincides with the October half-term holiday.
The old surfacing will be planed off before new surfacing is put down and the lines painted back on.
Redditch Borough Council is asking residents to remove their cars from the car park before the work starts on Tuesday, October 29.
The work, which is set to be completed by the council’s contractors Kelbec, will be noisy and dusty.
Cars left in close proximity to the works are left at the risk of owners as the planing of the old tarmac could cause damage.
Councillor Sharon Harvey, portfolio holder for environmental services, said: "We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause for residents of the area whilst these works are taking place.
"We have been careful to time this work to cause the least impact possible, having it take place during October half term. We hope the improvement to the facility outweighs the inconvenience felt."
This work forms part of a bigger ongoing improvement project around the borough.
