A park in Redditch has been transformed thanks to a collaboration between three organisations.
Overdale Park in Astwood Bank has received upgraded footpaths featuring a new oak bench and floral planter following a partnership between Redditch Borough Council, Thorlux Lighting and The National Lottery.
The council has hailed the project as a huge success and thanked their partners for helping to create a "lovely" park for the community to enjoy.
Councillor Juliet Barker Smith, Redditch Borough Council's portfolio holder for leisure, said: "It's great to have been able to deliver this wider scheme of improvements in Overdale Park thanks to the partners' contributions.
"On behalf of the council and the people who use this lovely park, it is most appreciated."
Volunteers from Astwood Bank in Bloom were joined at the official unveiling of the works by the Deputy Mayor of Redditch, councillor Joanna Kane, and Redditch MP Chris Bloore.
The new bench and planter were made possible by The National Lottery, Thorlux Lighting and the council while the footpaths were a planned council capital improvement.
