A PEDESTRIAN has died following a collision on a dual carriageway on Sunday night (November 3).
The tragic incident happened on the southbound carriageway of the A435 Hollywood Bypass, Hollywood.
West Midlands Ambulance Service received multiple 999 calls to reports of a serious crash at 11.59pm on Sunday.
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a MERIT trauma team responded to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “When ambulance staff arrived, they found police officers performing CPR on a pedestrian, a man.
"The team of ambulance staff quickly commenced advanced life support but sadly, despite the best efforts of everyone, nothing could be done to save the pedestrian, and he was confirmed dead on scene.”
