PEOPLE will once again be donning Santa suits and spreading Christmas cheer as part of a charity fun run.

The Primrose Hospice Santa Fun Run returns on Sunday, December 1 2024, at Arrow Valley Country Park, Redditch.

Whether you're a serious runner or just looking for some festive cheer, the event is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

Participants can choose between a 1km or 5km route, making it an inclusive event for families.

Each participant will receive a free Santa suit to wear during the run, transforming Arrow Valley into a sea of red and white.

Plus, they have environmentally friendly medals and delicious mince pies waiting for you at the finish line.

Gabrielle Grubb, fundraiser at Primrose Hospice, said: “Our Santa Fun Run is becoming a festive tradition for our local community, a way to kick off the festive season with family and friends.

"What I love most is that it’s not about how fast you complete the course or whether you are an experienced runner —it's about having fun and supporting your local hospice this Christmas.”

The Primrose Hospice has said that the Santa Fun Run is not just about running - it's about making a difference.

By participating, people are helping raise essential funds to support Primrose Hospice's clinical and family support services, which provide crucial support to individuals and families in the community facing life-limiting illnesses.

People's participation helps to raise the £1.95 million Primrose needs to ensure they can continue offering these services for free, all year-round.
