THE rise of the staycation has left many Brits looking closer to home for a cosy weekend break to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Worcestershire has a wealth of hotels offering a quiet getaway and some of which have been bestowed the title of being among the best in Britain.
The Good Hotel Guide has decided to name a number of venues as being above the rest.
The guide is an independent guide to hotels in Great Britain & Ireland and also covers parts of Continental Europe.
Each hotel is chosen by the guide's editors and inspectors who anonymously inspect the venues, and it honours itself for not allowing businesses to 'buy their way in' to the list.
Here are the Worcestershire hotels that The Good Hotel Guide has mentioned:
- The Broadway Hotel - Broadway
- The Manor Coach House - Hindlip
- The Cottage in the Wood - Malvern Wells
- The Lygon Arms - Broadway
- Russell's - Broadway
- Abbots Grange - Broadway
- The Olive Branch - Broadway
- Eckington Manor - Eckington
- The Elms - Abberley
- Brockencote Hall - Chaddesley Corbett
