Police have launched an appeal after a car was broken into in Redditch.
West Mercia Police said they received a report of a car break-in on Huntington Close.
The incident happened on Monday (November 18) with officers urging the community to make sure their vehicles are locked overnight and parked in a well-lit area.
They have also recommended using a steering lock to act as a deterrent for potential thieves.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "To make you all aware on Monday (November 18), we received a report from an individual from Huntington Close stating that their car had been broken into.
"Please ensure you lock your cars overnight and park them in a well lit area. You might want to consider purchasing a steering lock for your vehicle. This will act as a deterrent for potential thieves.
"If you require further advice on keeping your vehicle secure please do not hesitate to contact your local safer neighbourhood officers."
