A PROTEST meeting by Studley people against a proposal to incorporate the village into Worcestershire is to be held on June 2 and invitations are to be sent to speakers.
Though he said that he was not in favour of the village being taken over by Redditch, Mr H Anderton said he thought that in fairness, two Redditch representatives should be invited.
Mr J T Grubb said: “Redditch say they have no desire to take over Studley.”
Mr WCL Cullum agreed, saying the Boundary Commission would be left with the decision.
Mr ET Dyer suggested that all organisations in the village should be told of the meeting, and a special meeting of the council is to be held to arrange an agenda.
