PARTS of Redditch were transformed into a winter wonderland as they were covered by a blanket of snow.

But it was not all good news as driving conditions became treacherous and tail-backs occurred on some of the town’s major roads.

Many schools in Redditch and surrounding areas shut down the adverse weather conditions took hold.
