MANY schools in and around Redditch have been forced to close due to the wintry weather, although some are open to pupils taking exams today.
The schools which are shut are: Batchley First, Beoley First, Birchensale Middle, Feckenham First, Kingsley College (where there will be no diploma delivery today), Matchborough First, Moons Moat First, Oakenshaw Kindergarten, Oak Hill First, Our Lady of Mount Carmel First, Roman Way First, St Bede’s Middle, St George’s First, St Mary’s PRU, The Vaynor First, Walkwood Middle, Webheath First and Woodrow First.
In the Warwickshire area, Studley Infants, Studley St Mary’s CoE Junior and Mappleborough Green Primary are all closed today.
Arrow Vale Community High, St Augustine’s High and Trinity High are all closed except to pupils taking exams today.
The following schools have reduced opening times: Inkberrow First will be open from 10am, Oakfield PRU will be open from 10am-2pm for pupils who can make their own way in as there is no transport today, and St Luke’s First will be open from 10am-2.30pm to allow safe travel.
