THIS weekend members of Redditch Nightstop will be braving the elements to show their support for the homeless.
And residents are being asked to join them.
A number of people will be sleeping rough in the covered area of Market Place at the back of the Kingfisher Shopping Centre on Friday, September 16.
The aim is to raise as much awareness as possible for the charity, which provides emergency overnight accommodation for 16 to 25-year-olds and which works with young people.
Sue Pemberton, from the charity, said that she can’t wait for this fantastic event to take place and is looking forward to meeting anyone who would like to join in.
Any residents who do want to take part can meet at the market area at 7pm and bring suitable clothing as well as a sleeping bag, blanket or cardboard boxes.
