REDDITCH MP Karen Lumley recently met Nick Gibb, Minister for Education, to discuss various educational issues facing Worcestershire.
Mrs Lumley, who was joined by local school headteachers, talked about a number of issues including the introduction of a National Funding Formula.
The MP said that Worcestershire is one of the worst funded authorities in the country and has long pressed for a National funding formula.
"I was delighted to hear the minister say that the National Funding Formula would be delivered and pressed for this to be sooner rather than later,” she said.
“Young people in Redditch deserve the best education we can provide and this will certainly help them achieve that along with other Government measures."
