THE start of a new academic term at Ridgeway Middle School sees the start of a new headteacher and new plans.

Year five pupils were not the only new starters recently when Mike Bennett introduced himself to staff and pupils.

He said: “Ridgeway Middle School is a good school and I am pleased and excited to be trusted with moving the school forward into its next stage of development.

“The school is proud to be an important part of the local community and I see this as being a key component of our future success.”

Mr Bennett added: “I am proud to be part of this pupil focused school.”
