BUSINESSES in Bromsgrove and Redditch are set to benefit from two half day seminars.

Targeted at small to medium businesses (SMEs) and sole traders, the sessions will improve understanding of purchasing from the public sector.

Attendees will gain a greater understanding of the documentation involved and the rules that the public sector has to adhere to which will help them to find, bid and hopefully win business from organisations.

Procurement Managers from neighbouring councils including Redditch borough and Bromsgrove district councils, Wyre Forest district, Wychavon district, Worcester city and Warwick district and North Warwick district councils will also be on hand.

Experts from NEW College, The Federation of Small Businesses, Chamber of Commerce and the NHS Trust will also be sharing their advice over the networking lunch.

The first seminar will be held at Redditch Town Hall on October 13 and the second at Bromsgrove’s Council House on October 19. Delegates can book for either the morning or afternoon sessions at each venue To attend, e-mail procurement@bromsgroveandredditch.gov.uk specifying which venue and session is required.
